Florida named a best state for business

In Chief Executive’s 2019 CEO poll of the best and worst states for business, Florida ranked No. 2 for the second year in a row. Florida came in just behind Texas and just ahead of Tennessee for its low-tax and low-regulation environment. The survey is among the most important national barometers in the world of economic development because it is based solely on the opinions of CEOs.

Top Employers Shift to More Skills-Based Hiring

More companies – including Apple, IBM and Google, no longer require a bachelor’s degree for new hires. Studies show that hiring based on skills could help businesses find more middle-skill workers. Read more:
