The 10 week course will explore multiple types of cabling, sub-systems, and media such as copper, coax, and fiber optic cabling. The student will be able to install and terminate cabling, build out a telecommunications room, punch down and test cable and be able to recognize different topologies and media types.
The student will gain the knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in structured cabling as a cable installer and build a solid foundation for multiple career paths as well.
