Lake Technical College held a Toy Drive which was student led by the Student Ambassadors of our various programs. Student Ambassadors wanted to help local families, especially after the hurricane season. The students’ wish to provide happiness to kids and families in the community and to see kids’ faces light up and relieve a burden from parents was the goal set forth. Student Ambassadors of Lake Tech encouraged peers to participate, and Lake Tech students were able to give over 100 toys to the NAM Knights of America for their 5th Christmas in the Swamp Dinner and Toy Drive!
Ski from the Nam Knights of America Green Swamp Chapter said, “Thank you to the students at Lake Tech for the great contribution made in helping make the Green Swamps Toy Drive such a HUGE success. The hearts and generosity of our supporters came through with flying colors.” The toys will be going to local families in the South End of Lake County.
