Commercial Vehicle Service Technician (Kissimmee, FL (travel required))
Commercial vehicle service company looking for a knowledgeable technician to assist with onsite service work at different locations throughout the state of Florida.
Some experience is necessary, but willing to train the right candidate on the specifics of the work. General knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, wheels/tires, steering, suspension, 12V electrical, air conditioning, and other systems is required.
Experience with medium-duty trucks (Ford F-350/450/550/650, Isuzu/Mitsubishi cab-over diesels, etc.) highly preferred. Pump and plumbing systems experience (for spray trucks) also highly preferred.
Technician MUST be literate (strong command of English speaking, reading, and writing).
Technician will travel nightly Monday through Friday (sometimes Saturday) to our client’s locations and perform work on their trucks onsite. Technician must be onsite at their work location NLT 4p each evening, and visits may range from 8-10 hours per night, depending on workload. Travel to each client location can be several hours each way, so technician MUST have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Technician will use company truck for travel to client locations, but must have his or her own reliable means of transportation to and from our office in Kissimmee.
