The City of Delray Beach Fire Rescue Department will be hiring soon. In order to apply and complete an application; applicants must have taken the Countywide Physical Ability Test (CW-PAT) as well as the Broward County Firefighter Regional Assessment (BC-FRAT).
Both tests will be offered at Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety. Please go to the City of Delray Beach web page and fill out an interest card for our future hiring.

Dates for the testing process:
Registrations for CW-PAT at Coral Springs is no later than March 2nd, 2017 CW-PAT will be held at Coral Springs on March 5th.
Dates for the BC-FRAT:
- March 1st, 2017: Registration Opens
- March 15: Orientation at 9am (broadcast on Facebook Live)
- March 22: Registration ends (unless capacity has been met)
- March 26: Written exam
- April 1: Firefighter practical
- April 2: Firefighter practical (make up day – all would be required to come back if the make-up day is needed)
- April 8: Paramedic practical
