firefighter/EMT or Paramedic
Division: Fire Operations
BENEFIT GROUP: IAFF
RATE OF PAY: $37,953/annually
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- State of Florida certification as an Emergency Medical Technician and completion of Fire Minimum Standards as required by the State of Florida.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida driver’s license. Applicants who possess a valid out of state driver’s license must obtain the Florida driver’s license within 10 days of employment.
- State of Florida Paramedic certification preferred.
- Please include copies of Florida Firefighter II certification, and current Florida EMT and CPR certification or current Florida Paramedic and ACLS certification with application.
Hiring process includes a written exam, physical abilities evaluation, medical scenario and interview. Position requires pre-employment agreement.
