Career Dual Enrollment
Career Dual Enrollment scholarships are available now for students who plan to return as adult students once they have graduated from high school. Applications must be turned into the Admissions Office by April 1.
Students of the Month
The Culinary students prepared a pasta station for the January Students of the Month. Students had a chance to have lunch with the administration and share their insights on what it is like being a Lake Tech student!
Career Center
Thank you to Sonya Rosenglick, LTC’s Career Specialist, for presenting a resume workshop to our adult education students. Ms. Rosenglick spent some time talking about various types of resumes and how to gear them for the job that you want. Some of our students have lots of job experience and some don’t. Those students who thought they did not have any job skills, discovered that they really do.
Mrs. Rosenglick showed them that the volunteer and babysitting skills can count for experience. She showed us how to use those action verbs and how to format the resume to make it look professional and stand out to employers.
