Lake Technical College Welcomes three new members to the Board of Directors!

 

 

Jerry Cobb is a local entrepreneur and former student and instructor at Lake Technical College. As the owner of Cobb’s Triangle Tractor in Eustis, he has been an integral part of the farming community for over 35 years. Mr. Cobb has served on numerous boards in Lake County including the Lake County Fair Board, Lake Eustis Chamber of Commerce, East Lake Chamber of Commerce, and FFA. In addition, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968-1972.

 

 

 

 

David Steele is Vice President and the Chief Information Officer for Central Florida Health. He holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Walden University, and has been with Central Florida Health since July of 2012. Mr. Steele is an active member in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), and serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army of Lake and Sumter Counties. With over 30 years of health care experience ranging from information technology, financial decision support, and strategic planning, Mr. Steele comes with a variety of knowledge to contribute to the Board of Directors.

 

 

 

Finally, we welcome Mr. Tim Morris, Vice President of Ernie Morris Enterprises, Inc., and a managing partner at TNT Installation and T&R Holdings. Mr. Morris is currently a Trustee of Lake-Sumter State College, this will be the first time the two colleges have shared a board member. Mr. Morris is a graduate of Lake-Sumter State College with an AA in Business Management and he currently is serving on several boards including as Chairman of Life Stream Behavioral Center, Vice Chairman of Progress Health, Lake 100, and Vice Chairman of Lake County Planning and Zoning. With his many areas of expertise, Mr. Morris will serve as an impactful member of the Board at Lake Technical College.
