Mechanical Technician Needed
JOB SUMMARY – Job functions are assemble, install, repair, and service all high vacuum thin film deposition system. Will perform a wide variety of skilled, pro-active, preventative, and complex equipment maintenance duties in support of customer’s equipment. Job requires extensive traveling in US and worldwide.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS
- Assemble vacuum components into a high vacuum system
- Maintain and repair all operations of high vacuum system
- Operate and support for thin film deposition system
- Fabricate and repair special tools and fixtures or jigs in support of operations and engineering
- Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment
EDUCATION – Associate of Science (AS)
EXPERIENCE – None required. Will train.
SKILL KNOWLEDGE LEVEL REQUIRED
- Understanding of mechanical schematic
- Proficient mechanical skills to work with mechanical assembly
- Basic PC and Microsoft Office skill
- Efficient verbal and written skill to communicate with customer
- Ability to lift heavy weight, and to claim ladders for overhead work
- Ability to work all hours, beyond the required normal operation
- US Citizen required due to international traveling and working with DoD
WAGE – $12 – $15 per hour depends on experience
