World Book Night USA, 4/23/12

You are invited to join Lake Technical Center and the Lake County Library System’s celebration of World Book Night USA, April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in the Cooper Memorial Library Community Room, 2525 Oakley Seaver Dr., Clermont. The event includes food, giveaways, displays, and plenty of fun. Special thanks to the Clermont Chick-fil-A for donating food for the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet students, Lake Tech teachers and staff, and the Lake County Library System’s volunteer tutors and staff, as well as learn about the Circulation Challenge. The Circulation Challenge is a contest held throughout the Lake County Library System in which ESOL classes compete to check out the most books within a two week period. The names of the students in the winning class will be entered into a drawing to win a copy of Rosetta Stone.

World Book Night is an annual celebration designed to broaden the love of reading and books. On April 23rd tens of thousands of people across America will share books with others in their communities to spread the joy and love of reading.
