At Lake Technical Center, Career Pathways reflects our commitment to the mission statement of Adult Education: “…to provide both basic and 21st century skills training that connects each student to his or her career path of success.” Through community partnerships, curriculum, career coaching, Florida CHOICES and much more, we strive to provide every student with the resources they need to be successful.
Designed for Florida residents, CHOICES is a career exploration and information system that allows you to assess your interests and abilities, match your interests and needs to over 650 careers, view detailed occupational profiles, see 300 one-minute video clips and build a portfolio to keep track of your resume and letters. All Adult Education students are coached on how to utilize the full potential of this powerful tool during their journey on their career path of success.
